I am a writer, living and working on the South Coast. I have completed a Masters Degree in Creative Writing at the University of Chichester and was awarded a Distinction and the Kate Betts Memorial Prize. I am currently studying for a PhD in Creative Writing, examining witches in women’s poetry.

My work has appeared in a range of literary journals and I have been commissioned by the Winchester Poetry Festival to create and perform work as one of the Chalk Poets, writing work inspired by the South Downs and collected in an anthology launched in October 2016. My debut collection, ‘Hag’ is published by Indigo Dreams Publishing.

I am fascinated by the power and magic of words; I work as a business copy writer and also as a writer of fiction and poetry. I enjoy the creative challenge of writing, of bringing clarity and understanding and using language to better understand our world.
